George Stephen House, also known as the Rhododendron House, is a historic house located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was built in 1880 by George Stephen, a Scottish businessman who was one of the founders of the Canadian Pacific Railway and later became the first Baron Mount Stephen. The house is an example of Victorian architecture, featuring a mix of Gothic and Italianate styles. It was originally constructed as a summer residence for Stephen and his family and later served as the Canadian headquarters of the Bank of Montreal. The house and its surrounding gardens have been designated as a National Historic Site of Canada since 1973 and are open to the public for tours.
